Sasha Miller, - American painter, illustrator. Based in Paris France.Sasha was born in St. Peterburg Russia into the Family of artists. Her mother Natella Abdulayeva was a revered theater and cinema costume designer and a Opera and Ballet concept development and direction professor in the Conservatory of St. Petersburg ,as well as a costume and set designer for the Kirov Theater of Opera and Ballet . Her Father was a graphic designer and book illustrator and Step Father was industrial artist and a professor of Fine art at the Academy of Fine Art . Her Grandfather Victor Oreshnikov was prolific portrait painter and a rector of the Academy of Fine Arts of St. Petersburg.

Sasha started drawing at the age of six. By the age of eleven she was good enough to be admitted into Johansson School of Fine Arts - Middle Art School - pre Academy division. And at the age of 17, after graduating, she applied to the Academy. - book illustration faculty - and was admitted.

At the age of 20 she left Soviet Union and moved to New York City.

In NYC she worked along side one of the most successful Ukrainian American artists - Shimon Okshteyn. Working in developing Art for the multiple exhibits in NY City. Such is Nachamkin and OK Harris Galleries, as well as VAAS center in France. Gaining the invaluable experience and technique from working with her mentor. And understanding how the bustling world of Modern Fine in New York City of the nineties worked.

After a few years she went on to her own artistic career.

She worked as the illustrator for Metro Creative Graphics..

Served as a creative director for Museum Masters International Art Licensing Firm.

Created illustrations for the interior designers and published two children’s books.

After taking some time off to raise a Family she went back to work. But now it felt right to come back to the world of Fine Art. During the Covid shutdown she started working on her fist big format paintings.

She since moved to Paris France, and is working on various artistic projects.

She got her first recognition from The Guideartists Magazine which featured her work in 2022.

Won the Artist of the month prize from the Upward Gallery in 2023 and the Honorable mention from the KOI Gallery 2024 .

She participates in various Art competitions and Prizes - like Visual Arts Association and Art Laguna Prize.

She lives and creates in Paris.
